Dr. James G, McPherson, III, M.D., M.P.H. is a Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon practicing in Ventura County CA. and has experience as an Expert Witness. He attended USC as an under graduate and earned his Doctor of Medicine and a Masters of Public Health at Tulane University of Medicine, New Orleans, LA. Dr. McPherson served his Internship and Residencies at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, NY, completing that program in 1994. He served as a Mayor in the Army Medical Corps at Fort McPherson, Georgia.
Dr. McPherson is currently President and Medical Director of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA. He was Assistant professor of Clinical Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine at USC and in the past an Instructor in Surgery at Columbia University.
