Kelly C. O’Neill, Ph.D.

Psychology

Kelly C. O’Neill has been a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the State of California for the past ten years.

She specializes in conducting psychiatric and forensic evaluations for Workers’ Compensation treatment cases and Qualified and Independent Medical and Pre-Surgical Clearance cases. She also provides treatment planning and psychological treatment for cases of PTSD and chronic pain.

Dr. O’Neill earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and accomplished a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Yale University Health Services.

In the area of research she was a research assistant at the University of California, Irvine, a project funded by the National Institute of Mental Health that studied the somatization of refugees seeking primary care. Her presentations have included the subject of “Psychotherapy with Brain-Injured Clients”.
